Abstract
Implementing the policy of the party's Central Committee on reorganizing the ranks of cadres to make them more revolutionary, younger, more knowledgeable, and more specialized, the party committees and organizational departments at all levels in Hebei province have, in recent years, promoted a number of outstanding women to responsible posts at different levels in the course of readjusting leading bodies. These women cadres have lived up to expectations. However, we must realize that the percentage of women cadres in leading bodies at all levels is still quite small and falls short of what the central and provincial party committees have expected.
