Abstract
This paper explores the impact of Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) on ADHD symptoms in children aged 6-12 and the effectiveness of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in reducing ADHD symptoms in adolescents. The study highlights how PCIT improves parenting skills, reduces disruptive behavior, and enhances academic and social functioning in children with ADHD. For adolescents, CBT is shown to be effective in managing ADHD symptoms through cognitive restructuring and behavioral techniques. The paper also reviews multiple studies demonstrating the positive effects of CBT on inattention, impulsivity, and organizational skills in adolescents with ADHD.
