Abstract
The synthesis of the mixed polymer [TBPcGeO] n containing phthalocyaninatogermanium (PcGe) and tetrabenzoporphyrinatogermanium (TBPGe) subunits linked by oxygen bridges, is reported. Iodine doping leadi to [TBPcGeOI 1.1] n at the maximum doping level, which shows a room temperature d.c. conductivity σ RT = 8 × 10 −2 S/cm.
