Abstract
In this paper experimental and theoretical results for the magnetic resonance of ferrimagnetic powdered intermetallic compounds of the Y-Co system, namely YCo 3, Y 2Co 7, YCo 5 and Y 2Co 17 are presented. From FMR spectra some magnetocrystalline anisotropy fields were determined in order to compare these with those calculated from magnetisation data.
