Abstract

Abstract One of the crucial problems related with the functionality of Multi-Agent Systems (MAS) is the determination of mutual relations between agents, the means and aims of their communication, principles of their coexistence or co-operation, coaction. In the first part of the study a classification of MAS in respect to the nature of relations existing between the agents is presented. The second part contains the proposition of the formal description of the relations, dependencies and interactions in Multi-Agent Systems. The approach presented is based on the minimax concept and the introduced (developed) formalism of minimax graphs.
