Abstract
Atomic reaction measurements and calculations are surveyed. Electron elastic scattering by H atoms, slow heavy-particle reactions, fast reactions, excitation transfer, and threshold behavior are discussed. Fairly suc cessful calculations exist for most processes; most data include some deviations from theory. Other conflicts exist because of the necessary approximations in calculations. (L.N.N.)
