Abstract
Atomic emission spectrometry methods and techniques are described, focusing on modern plasma (inductively coupled plasma, microwave plasma, capacitive coupled plasma) emission sources. Instrumentation (spectrometers, sample introduction/nebulization, detectors), and methods (solution, electrothermal vaporization, hydride generation, and direct solids analysis) are reviewed.
