Abstract
Neutrino oscillation from muon neutrino to electron neutrino, which is induced by non-zero θ13 mixing angle, is expected to be influenced largely due to matter effect in the multi-GeV energy region in the atmospheric neutrinos. Since matter effect occurs on either neutrino or anti-neutrino depending on neutrino mass hierarchy, it is possible to deduce mass hierarchy by investigating electron neutrino oscillation separately for neutrino and anti-neutrino. We will report on the study of mass hierarchy determination using atmospheric neutrino data along with the latest oscillation analysis result in Super-Kamiokande.
