Abstract

Presence of an elevated stable layer arrests the vertical dispersion of the plume thereby affecting the downwind concentration distribution. The existing models, namely multiple reflection model and the schemes recommended by British Meteorological Office and International Atomic Energy Agency are evaluated à their applicability and accuracy.
