Abstract
In this paper Tonino Griffero introduces his proposal of an “atmospheric aesthetics”, with special attention to the ontological questions related to the notion of “atmosphere”, that is to say the emotional qualities radiated from physical environments and things. In order to clarify the ontologic nature of atmospheres Griffero refers to the works of Hubertus Tellenbach, Hermann Schmitz, Gernot Bohme, Michael Hauskeller, Jurgen Hasse.
