Abstract
AbstractGas Utilities (MIC: 7.4 SIC: 4922 NAIC: 486210)Atmos Energy is engaged in the natural gas utility business as well as certain non‐regulated natural gas businesses. As of Sep 30 2004, Co. distributed natural gas through sales and transportation arrangements to about 1,700,000 residential, commercial public authority and industrial customers through its regulated utility operations in 12 states. Co. also transports natural gas through its distribution system. Co. provides natural gas management and marketing services to industrial customers, municipalities and other local gas distribution companies in 18 states. Co. also supplements natural gas used by its customers through natural gas storage fields located in Kentucky and Louisiana.
