Abstract
Manual contouring of OARs and target volumes for breast brachytherapy patients can be time-consuming. We developed an atlas-based auto-contouring approach to contouring PTV, breast tissue, heart, pectoralis, chestwall, and ribs (RTOG 0413) for patients being treated with Accelerated Partial Breast Irradiation (APBI) using a SAVI applicator. We evaluated the accuracy of the atlas-generated structures and efficiency for its potential to increase efficiency and consistency among planners.
