Abstract
The great demand for aesthetics has led to the development of increasingly discreet orthodontic appliances. For this reason, treatments with orthodontic aligners have become a reality in daily practice and the understanding of their biomechanics and especially the resources to obtain the desired results is of fundamental importance. Therefore, this work aims to demonstrate how the activation of the aligners through orthodontic pliers can be performed in order to help complement the movement, especially when only a force exerted by the aligners is not sufficient for the desired tooth movement.
