Abstract
In this study, use of waste marble pastes that is emerged during production was investigated on reactive powder concretes (RPC). This waste was used instead of quartz powder. Compressive strength, flexural tensile strength, fracture toughness, ultrasonic pulse velocity, schmidt test hammer experiences were performed on all specimens. As a result of the study, a slight reduction (6%) has been observed on compressive strength by using marble paste in mixture. However, significant loss of flexural parameters is not observed arising from waste marble paste. Unit cost analysis showed that the use of marble paste instead of quartz powder is more economic 2.5% of flexural strength and 6.12% of fracture toughness. By means of this study, it was seen that the use of marble paste is available on RPB. Besides, the results referred that it may contribute economy and also disposing of a waste that harms environment .
