Fisher The College of William & Mary Andrew H. Fisher is currently the Margaret Hamilton Associate Professor of History at the College of William & Mary. He received his BA from the University of Oregon and his PhD from Arizona State University, with a focus on American Indian history and the American West. His first book, Shadow Tribe: The Making of Columbia River Indian Identity (University of Washington Press, 2015), examines off-reservation communities and processes of ethnogenesis in the Columbia Basin.
