Abstract
This article describes imaging with one of the premier Video-graphic image processing hardware/software combinations available today: the Image Capture Board (ICB) and Truevision Image Processing Software (TIPS) from Truevision Inc. (originally a subsidiary of AT&T). A variety of visual examples from video images to typical drawings of the kind used for art and illustration are presented together with short descriptions of how the software is manipulated to achieve the image effects. It is pointed out that while the ICB/TIPS is a powerful hardware/software combination, it represents the low end in terms of price and performance of the products available from Truevision, Inc.
