Abstract

Miriam Delphin‐Rittmon, M.D., former commissioner of the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, was confirmed as assistant secretary for mental health and substance use at the federal Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) in June; she now leads the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). Nancy Navarretta, deputy commissioner of the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, will be the agency's acting commissioner until the governor appoints a permanent commissioner.
