Abstract
We compute the asymptotic wave profiles for the exterior problem in elasticity with homogeneous Neumann condition. We give precise results on the asymptotic distribution of the elastic energy in various subsets of space. These results are obtained via the use of a recently developed extension of the scattering theory of C. Wilcox (Mabrouk & Helali, 2002).
