Abstract

The asymptotic dynamics of a host–parasitoid model is considered. The dynamics of the host and the parasitoid population are modeled by age-structured McKendrick–von Foerster equation and a delay-differential equation, respectively. Using the coupled pair of partial and delay-differential equations, some effects of the asymptotic dynamics of the parasitoid on that of the host and vice versa are studied.
