Abstract
The semi-classical wave functions associated with tunneling and curve crossing and calculated with Siegert boundary condition (outgoing wave only in the outer channel) can yield an asymptotic amplitude giving directly the width. This is valid in the small width limit and requires inner unit normalization of the wave function.
