Abstract

In this paper the authors prove that as t → + ∞ the temperature distribution of a rotary workpiece tends to a periodic function of t which is constructed by rotating certain stationary temperature distribution with the given angular velocity. The corresponding finite element approximations together with a numerical example are also given.
