Abstract
We consider an integral equation of the radiative transfer type stated in the interval [ 0 , τ 0 ] with the length τ 0 ≫ 1 . We construct an asymptotic solution of the problem and we give a method transforming this problem to some similar problems set in the interval with the length d ≪ τ 0 . Error estimates are proved.
