Abstract

A healthy 1-year-old girl presented to our dermatology clinic with bilateral asymptomatic planter nodules that were noticed by her parents at 1 month of age. There was no family history of similar lesions. On examination, there were bilateral, soft, skin-colored, nontender, mobile nodules over the medial plantar surface of both feet measuring around 1.5 × 0.5 cm (Fig 1). Ultrasound examination of the plantar surfaces found increased subcutaneous focal fatty deposition at the site of skin nodules.
