Abstract

In this conference paper, we propose asymmetric single split resonators, which feature a very high Q-factor and a small electrical size, as unit cells for terahertz frequency selective surface applications such as filters or thin-film sensors. To benchmark the performance of these resonators, we compare the proposed single split asymmetric structures to their double split counterparts with the same geometrical footprint.
