Abstract

The enantioselectivities exhibited by Ni/SiO 2 modified with tartaric acid or alanine are dependent on both the initial modifier concentration and the presence of NaBr as a co-modifier; under conditions of optimum enantioselectivity, modification with alanine in the absence of NaBr yields the highest enantiomeric excess.
