Abstract
IN 1936 the Nautical Almanac Office undertook, by agreement with the Admiraity, the preparations of an "Air Aimanac" and of "Astronomicai Navigation Tables" for astronomical navigation in the air. The "Air Aimanac" has always been on sale to the generai pub1ic ; but the "Tabies" have been restrictcd to official use and are now for the first time being piaced on general sale.
