Abstract

Penicillin and Cephalosporins are commonly used antibiotics for treatment of presumed sepsis in the neonatal period. These beta-lactam drugs are the most frequently implicated drug class to elicit adverse drug reactions (ADR), and we hypothesize that neonatal exposure to them is associated with increased reporting of ADR to them.
