Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) is the leading cause of death in Indigenous Australians with traditional risk factors not fully explaining CVD risk in this population. Poor sleep at night increases CVD risk and mortality. Although obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA) is an important comorbidity in, T2DM, heart failure, and HTN, sleep disorders in Indigenous Australians are underdiagnosed with limited access to care in remote communities.
