Abstract

Lead is a poisonous metal and is widely used in daily life for its good chemical properties. Increased use of lead in industry, its excessive inhalation and ingestion can adversely affect major biological functions in the human body. The study was carried out in Seventy car painter working in Lahore and. Cases were selected according to inclusion and exclusion criteria through stratified random sampling using proportional allocation. Blood samples were drawn after informed consent. Blood lead concentrations was determined by atomic absorption spectrometer. Correlation between lead level and Hb was observed by the data obtained. Data analysis was done by SPSS version 18.
