Abstract
On Seward Peninsula, Alaska, beryllium minerals are concentrated in veins and replacements, primarily outside, and only in minor amounts within the contact zones that have tin deposits. Associations favorable for occurrence of similar deposits elsewhere include tin deposits with biotite granite, limestone, fluorite, topaz greisens with tin and sulfides, beryllium in skarns and granites, and abnormally high trace beryllium in granite. Areas of the world considered favorable are listed. Geochemical exploration of stream sediments is useful.
