Abstract

A relationship is found to exist between the depth of a carious lesion and the presence of dentinal sclerosis; calcification is produced when calcium hydroxide-methylcellulose is used as a base beneath restorative materials. Electronic instrumentation was used to measure changes of dimension in the pulpal floor.
