Abstract

Continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) in diabetic pregnancies improves glycemic control and neonatal outcomes, compared to capillary blood glucose monitoring. Current recommendations for CGM goals are based primarily on expert opinion, and it is not clear which CGM metrics are associated with perinatal outcomes. Our objective was to evaluate the association between CGM metrics and perinatal outcomes and identify evidence-based treatment goals to reduce morbidity.
