It is pointed out that apoptosis is related to the ischemic injury of the body and is the main way of neuronal death. It is pointed out that ischemic brain tissue is prone to inflammatory reaction, is characterized by infiltration of peripheral leukocytes and activation of microglia. Activated microglia can trigger inflammatory reaction by releasing reactive oxygen species, cytokines, glutamate and protease, and lead to the death of neurons in the body (Meurer et al, 2018).
