Abstract
In the framework of the ${k}_{t}$-factorization approach, the photon-associated production of $\ensuremath{\Upsilon}$ mesons at the present-day LHC conditions is studied. The differential cross sections and polarization parameters are calculated in the ``helicity'' and Collins-Soper systems. Special attention is paid to the effect of experimental cuts that can dramatically change the visible lepton angular distributions.
