Abstract

The atopic march is the observed linear and time-dependent progress of allergic diseases as they develop during childhood, beginning with clinical manifestations of atopic dermatitis (AD) followed by allergic asthma (AA) then allergic rhinitis. However, it has been noted that some patients with AA have no clinical history of AD. We examined the skin of AA and AD patients to compare measures of histopathology at the cellular level.
