Abstract

Aim: The aim of the study was to assess the total occlusal convergence guessing by sight and ruler methods and compare with the snapshots for accuracy. Materials and methods: The methods used for total occlusal convergence (TOC) preparation were assessed among students, interns, and dental specialists after die preparation and compared with the snapshots for accuracy. Results: In all, 47% of the specialist’s observation achieved the recommended TOC angle, while 29.25% was obtained by undergraduates. Conclusion: In conclusion, specialist’s observation was better in both ruler and sight guessing methods compared to dental students and interns.
