Abstract

The article defines that in the general form the system of staffing of the judicial branch of power can be conditionally divided into three components: staffing directly of judges; personnel support of the court apparatus; staffing of persons who are recruiting judges for the post. Among the areas highlighted, the key is the staffing of judges directly, since judges themselves are judicial and directly administering justice. An absolute novelty of administration in the judicial system, a managerial element of human resources management, is a mechanism for assessing the quality of work of judges, which directly influences the state of quality justice. In connection with the reform of justice and justice in Ukraine, one of the areas of which proclaimed the quality of work of a judge, as an important component of the career advancement of a judge and quality justice, as well as the problems of professional fitness of judges, the criteria of quality assessment play a very important role, the work of the judges, who will subsequently become the criteria for the selection of candidates for the post of judges. Such assessment should be carried out at the national (national) level, at the individual levels of the judicial system, at the level of the individual court and individually with respect to a particular judge. Each of these levels should have its own methodology and evaluation criteria. The article is about assessing the quality of work of a particular judge, based on criteria such as competence (professional, personal, social); professional ethics; virtue. High level of professionalism of judges, their professional suitability is a guarantee of quality justice in the state. Working with human resources, their qualitative selection, professional development is one of the most effective means of improving the functioning of the judicial branch of power as an institution of the state, which is designed to ensure the protection of rights and freedoms, the legitimate interests of the individual and the citizen.
