Abstract

Various elastic elements are widely used in mechanical engineering structures: springs, shells, membranes, etc. In this case, the most widespread are springs - an elastic element designed to create a concentrated load. The spring can be made of any material with sufficiently high strength and elastic properties (steel, nickel, titanium alloys, bronze, plastic, wood, etc.). The main material for the manufacture of springs is spring steel (steel 70, steel 65G, steel 55S2, steel 50HFA, steel 60S2XA, etc.). The following requirements are imposed on the springs: high strength and elasticity, reliability of operation, high relaxation resistance and cyclic endurance, the ability to maintain their technical characteristics when working in various environments.
