Abstract

According to GOST 22732-77, the quality of a powder can be assessed by three -differential, complex, and composite -methods. In the differential method each of the indicators of a powder being assessed, which are called unit indicators, is compared with the corresponding indicator of a reference powder (for an iron powder GOST 9849-74 lays down 19 units quality control indicators). When all the indicators of a powder being assessed are better than those of the reference powder, the quality of the former is taken to be higher.
