Abstract

The article presents the results of a study of phagocytosis parameters and levels of antibodies to SARS‑CoV‑2 in the blood of 26 doctors: 14 pediatricians and 12 residents of the clinical laboratory diagnostics. The data obtained revealed a reduced number of eosinophils and lymphocytes in the blood and higher values of phagocytic activity and levels of antibodies to SARS‑CoV‑2 in the pediatricians compared to the residents, which indicates a decrease in the reactivity of their body and a greater tension of natural protection factors. No significant correlation between antibody levels and phagocytosis parameters was found, which may indicate their autonomous response to a viral infection.
