Abstract

Identification of chemical markers in human embryo culture media that correlate to embryo quality and implantation potential could be an invaluable tool in embryo selection for transfer. Several studies have suggested that high quality embryos secrete soluble HLA-G . This study examines sHLA-G levels in both embryos that are selected for transfer as well as those kept in culture for cryopreservation at the blasocyst stage.
