Abstract

Background: The distinction between maternal death in pregnancy and pregnancy-related maternal death is not always easy. The present study was conducted to determine reasons of maternal deaths.Materials & Methods: The present study was conducted in the department of forensic Medicine. It included 34 pregnancy related deaths. Demographic profile and histopathological findings were recorded. Reasons of deaths were recorded.
