Abstract

Background:- The contribution of wide variety and levels of services makes the radiology department a very composite network to run . The well managed radiology department is seen within patient spending less time before investigation. Previous research on the patient's dissatisfaction with health care services appears that they are providing patient centred care and covers the amount of time consumed with the health care professional, enthusiasm of the technician to listen the problem of patient, and hope for treatment . prolong patient pre-investigation times have been figured out as the crucial cause of affecting the satisfaction with health care facility’.The average time period spent from reporting till dispatching the report/films was determines to the overall patients satisfaction. The aim of the survey is to “Assess the Patients Waiting Time in the Radiology Department (x-ray) in AVBRH , Sawangi (Meghe), Wardha. Objectives:- To assess the patients waiting time in the radiology department (x-ray) in AVBRH hospital, Sawangi (Meghe) Wardha. To determine the patient satisfaction with the radiological services provided in AVBRH hospital, Sawangi (Meghe) Wardha. To find the solution to overcome the long patient waiting time in radiology department in AVBRH Hospital from patients and radiographer’s perspective. Methodology:- The study was a prospective cross-sectional survey research.Primary source : Questionnaire based survey Expected Results:- The expected outcome should be the waiting time is less and outcome is come efficient which should not cause dissatisfaction among patients and therefore should not require a solution to solve the overall long waiting time
