Abstract

Mycotoxins, being secondary metabolites of mold, represent a serious food safety problem, cause intoxication in animals and reduce their productivity. In this regard, it is necessary to know the toxicity and biotransformation of mycotoxins in different
 species of animals and humans in order to prevent the possibility of infection as well as their inactivation or harm reduction when morbidity is unavoidable. The article contains the results of studying the degree of mycotoxin contamination of feed and
 compound feed raw materials in the Republic of Belarus for the period 2011-2021. Materials for the study were 11089 samples of compound feed and its components. The results of studying the quality of cereal crops, soybean, sunflower and rapeseed
 meals and cakes, bran and fodder in total for mycotoxin content in dynamics over the last decade prove the necessity to use mycotoxin adsorbents in compound feed.
