Abstract

The methods for assessment of possibility of non-exceedance of maximum permissible accumulation levels of 90Sr and other radionuclides in plants in case of a homogeneous and heterogeneous radiation contamination are proposed. In case of a homogeneous radioactive contamination, the possibility of non-exceedance of maximum permissible accumulation levels of 90Sr and other radionuclides in plants can be calculated using the function of normal or lognormal distribution. In case of a heterogeneous radioactive contamination, the possibility of non-exceedance of maximum permissible accumulation levels of 90Sr and other radionuclides in plants can be calculated using the Bayesian formula and fuzzy logic methods.
