Abstract

This study aims at measuring and analyzing the efficiency of conventional banks operating in Palestine as applied on a sample of 11 banks during the period 2007 to 2014 using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) and Stochastic Cost Frontier (SFA) models. Results indicate that there are insignificant differences in the average scores of efficiency according to the bank size or type, while these differences seem to be significant when analyzing according to the model used.
