Martinis an associate professor of arts management at Carnegie Mellon University and the director of the Carnegie Mellon Center for Arts Management and Technology. He is also the editor of the Guide to Arts Administration Training and Research 1997–1999. J. Dennis Rich has chaired the Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management Department at Columbia College Chicago since 1991. Prior to that, he worked for many years as an arts manager and consultant. Dr. Rich has lectured extensively in Europe on fund raising and cultural marketing.
