Abstract

Introduction: Elderly people are a large part of the country, and if they could provide their comfort and comfort, they helped to improve their quality of life. The aim of this study was to assess the quality of sleep in the elderly based on the standard Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index, systematic review and meta-analysis. Materials and Method: This review study was performed based on the PRISMA transcripts protocol. The bases of ISI, Cochrane Library, Google Scholar, Pubmed, Scopus, were searched independently by two researchers using MeSH keywords between 2008 and 2019. Data were analyzed using meta-analysis and STATA software. In order to study the heterogeneity, Q and index I2 were used in the studies. Result: 100 papers were found. Ultimately, 19 good quality articles entered the systematic review process. The accumulation chart of the mean paternal sleep quality scores showed that this level 12.37 (11.53-13.21) was. Meta regression Pittsburgh Sleep Quality study was performed in terms of sample size and year of study, and the value of P-value was equal to the value (P <0.001), which shows that in studies with increasing years and with increasing sample size, the score is decreasing Which is statistically significant. Conclusion: In order to improve the sleep quality of the elderly, physical activity such as daily exercise such as walking can be used, which can improve the quality of sleep in the elderly. © 2019, Indian Journal of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology.
