Abstract

As the Omicron COVID wave subsides and vaccination rates rise, schools that have offered remote attendance and remote testing for students with COVID infections or immune‐compromising disabilities in on‐campus courses are reconsidering their continued use, beginning with the upcoming fall semester. At the same time, disability rights organizations have called for schools to continue to make remote attendance available as an accommodation for students with COVID‐related disabilities in on‐campus courses and programs (see https://bit.ly/34WLKDo). Because remote attendance and remote testing implicate different concerns, schools should assess them separately.
