Abstract

ABSTRACT SA213 T92 steel is generally used in power plants as a high-temperature structural material. In order to evaluate the degradation of the flow properties of T92 by heat, accelerated tests were conducted at various time-temperature combinations reflecting actual service conditions, and hardness and tensile tests were performed. Observation of the microstructure of accelerated test specimens confirmed that the microstructural change is related to the degradation of flow properties, which can be described by the Hollomon and Jaffe equation.
